Software Engineer (m/w/x)
It is LambdaCal’s Mission to build state of the art software. This stands above everything else. LambdaCal develops and distributes its own products as well as it does contracting work. In all projects the scientific challenge we try to solve is our key motivator. Agile programming and business practises are the lifeblood of our fundamental conviction that software is going to be the biggest differantiator in every product or system.
With your technical expertise, you are part of a team and lead projects im multiple areas of expertise across all our diffrent projects that require custom software. You also work with customers to develop elegant solutions.
Starting at concept creation, you architect, design, develope, validate, and continue to support the product through end of life. As a Software Engineer, you’ll be an integral part of the entire process, especially involved in the system design, build, and test/validation cycles of the projects.
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages.
Experience working with two or more from the following: web application development, Unix/Linux environments, mobile application development, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, networking, developing large software systems, and/or security software development.
Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English and ideally German.
Master’s, PhD degree, further education or experience in engineering, computer science or other technical related field.
Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Rust, C/C++, Elixir, Swift, Python, Haskell, Lisp, or Go.
Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.
